"Zenith Gallery Welcomes Portraiture Back to 7th Street"
Featuring Washington Area Artist Bradley Stevens

In honor of the reopening of the National Portrait Gallery, Zenith Gallery
is proud to present the extraordinary portraits of Bradley Stevens. His portrait
of Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. was recently accepted into the permanent collection
of the National Portrait Gallery. This week his portrait of former Governor
Mark Warner of Virginia was unveiled to a huge crowd and enormous enthusiasm
in at the State Capital in Richmond.
Stevens’ has painted the portraits of judges, senators, philanthropists, chairmen, university deans and numerous patrons including the family of Senator John D. Rockefeller IV, Glenn L. Martin, co-founder of Martin Marietta and Dr. Robert Heyssel, President of Johns Hopkins University Hospital. He has reproduced historical portraits for the White House, US State Department, US House of Representatives and Smithsonian Institution. Currently he is working on a portrait of the “Connecticut Compromise” for the Unites States Senate.
Zenith Gallery has a longstanding relationship with Bradley Stevens and continues to show his scenes from Europe and throughout the United States. His paintings of Washington are on display in our companion show “Our Town”.
