Gloria Cesal, Resumè

Artist’s Statement:
My intention in this body of work was to create spaces that breathe color allowing the medium to dictate its presence and express its own pictorial language. I have sought to create a sense of free movement and emotionality in all my canvases. In so doing, I have tried to combine a bold and expressive stroke as well as inventiveness and free spirit in my themes-all the while leaving opportunity for unexpected fortune to make its contribution to my work. My ultimate motivation has been to create images that evoke contemplation, reflection and delight.
