I am a clinical social worker, turned sculptor. For many years I had a working studio in the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Va. However, I am now working in another studio, continuing to create works in clay, bronze, and mixed media. My hope is that past clients and others who maintain interest in new and unique, one-of-a-kind sculpture will continue to follow my work.
My work has been featured on WETA public television in a program entitled “Take the Day Off,” have participated in the U.S. State Department’s “Arts in Embassies” Program (my work is currently in the American Embassy in Azerbaijan) and shown my sculpture in New York City at the National Sculpture Society and at Brookgreen Gardens in S. Carolina. My sculpture has been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art here in Washington and at the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration.
